One year ago, my life changed in a way I never could have anticipated.

I went through an unexpected health crisis that turned my world upside down. What followed was a year of healing, reflection, rebuilding and learning how to give myself grace for something I never chose to experience.

There were relationships that changed, pieces of my life I had to rebuild, and a version of myself I had to let go of.

But somewhere in that rebuilding, From Ashes Beauty took on an entirely new meaning.

It became more than the name of my business. It became part of my story.

This past year, my business and I have grown alongside each other. I’ve rediscovered my creativity, reconnected with clients, taken chances, made mistakes, started over—and kept going.

I’m not the same woman I was in September 2025.

And I’m realizing I’m not supposed to be.

I’m still healing. Still growing. Still rebuilding.

And maybe that’s what From Ashes was always meant to represent. 🤍

My past does not define me, it defines what I have overcome.
