“I’m Jessica but you can call me Jess, and I’m the face behind !

I’m 27 and have been doing hair since I was just 15! I’m very fortunate to have went to a trade school that allowed me to begin learning the craft at a very young age!

But hair hasn’t always been what l’ve seen myself doing. I wasn’t the 4 yr old cutting my own bangs or cutting my Barbie’s hair. To be honest I thought that l’d just do hair to put myself through college because going to college meant l’d get a “real” job one day!
Because doing hair certainly “couldn’t ever be enough” to support myself and my future family someday.
So l began working full time at a spa while going to college and graduated with my associates from MWCC.

But found myself thinking “now what?!” &
I was at a complete cross roads and didn’t know whether I should transfer my credits and go for a bachelor’s degree, or actually give doing hair a chance for once!

This was right around the time I found and her program and man it changed everything for me!!
Not only did she give me hope that I can make doing hair a career, but a freaking awesome one at that!! She taught me that you really can achieve anything you desire out of this industry! But most importantly she helped me put those limiting beliefs behind me.
I’m forever grateful.

To those struggling with not knowing “what they want to be when they grow up”.. I encourage you to do what feels the most fun to you. Even if it may seem scary, or like you won’t be able to make it....
“Feel the fear and do it any way” -
You just may find yourself in love with your career if you follow your heart!”

🍀 What better day is there to talk about Copper and Clover’s name meaning than on St. Patrick’s Day?! ☘️

This question comes up all of the time and it seems like the perfect weekend to share the reason!

“Most salons have a pin name and I personally don’t like that. The other option I often see is named after someone. And I didn’t like that either. So I had to think of something out of the box. My husband and I are both descendants of Irish immigrants. We love our Irish roots and were married in Co. Clare, Ireland 🇮🇪

We also gave our daughters Irish names. Since so many of the major pieces of me had an Irish theme it seemed fitting to give this big piece of me some Irish love too. Hence the clover.” 🍀 ~
