Still kind of surreal seeing “Dad’s Night Out: Pints & Ponytails” featured in the paper. 🥹

What started as a funny little idea turned into rooms full of dads genuinely wanting to learn how to care for their daughters’ hair better — detangling knots, making ponytails, and showing up for their kids in such a sweet, hands-on way. Honestly, watching these dads try so hard, ask questions, laugh through it, and leave feeling proud of themselves was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done at Village Vanity.

And girl dads? They matter so much. There’s something incredibly powerful about a daughter growing up with a father who wants to learn the little things that make her feel cared for, confident, and important. It’s never “just hair.” It’s quality time, patience, trust, and showing your child “I’m here for you” in everyday moments they’ll remember forever. 🖤💜
