There are numerous ways to blend the gray, and in this instance we had our first transitioning session in which I took small slices of lightener to break through the previous color and then toned in zones that blended with her natural grey pattern.
In 8-12 weeks she will NOT have a line of demarcation that is traditional with a solid gray coverage and she will have the option to keep blending what she has with a grey blending glaze or do another gray transitioning session to almost completely remove all old artificial color.
Please keep in mind that these makeovers take time and require maintenance appointments because all hair will fade warm. Using the right products such as purple/silver shampoo or conditioner help protect your hair from too much warmth.

We’re giving fall, turning leaves, crisp air, chai tea, apple spice, carving pumpkins, yellow knit blankets, wool slipper socks, open windows, and cable knit cardigans. It’s perfection.

Book a tip out in addition to your partial highlight when you feel like your ends need a little extra pop of brightness.
Add a root smudge to soften those highlight lines and blend scattered gray.
