After our last post stating that we would be open today, we received this Bakersfield Police Department update. Unfortunately, it appears that our street will be closed for a good part of today. We will be in the Boutique to reschedule appointments that are affected by these closures. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.

We are so thankful that the hostage incident at the Chase Bank building was resolved and that those who were being held were safely reunited with their families.

Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with each of the individuals involved, as well as the loved ones who endured such a difficult and frightening situation.

We are grateful for a safe resolution and ask our community to continue keeping everyone affected in their thoughts and prayers. 🙏

What a fun afternoon we had at the Guild House luncheon yesterday! 💕 Thank you to the beautiful ladies from the Guild House for serving as models for Lemonade Locks Boutique — you all did an amazing job and made the event so special.

The Guild House is truly one of Bakersfield’s treasures — a historic restaurant known for its volunteer-run, three-course gourmet lunches, with all proceeds benefiting the Henrietta Weill Memorial Child Guidance Clinic. We were honored to be part of such a meaningful community tradition.

💐Just a reminder that Lemonade Locks Boutique will be closed on Saturday (May 16) as we head to the Guild House for an fashion show!

We’re so excited to be part of this special event and can’t wait to showcase some fabulous fashion and fun. Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support of our boutique. We appreciate each and every one of you!
