🦷 Cysts in the Mouth: Always Get Them Checked
Not every bump, lump, or unusual area in the mouth is something to ignore. Oral cysts can develop in the jawbone, gums, or soft tissues and may sometimes cause no symptoms at all.
While many oral cysts are benign, they can sometimes grow, damage surrounding bone or teeth, or require treatment. That’s why any persistent or unusual oral lesion should be evaluated.
At Advanced Oral Surgery, we also perform ORAL BIOPSIES when needed to help determine the nature of an abnormal tissue or lesion.
