Simply choose the experience that best aligns with your skin’s goals and desired level of treatment. Dermaplaning can be included in any treatment at no additional cost.

A restorative facial designed to hydrate, maintain healthy skin, and provide a relaxing reset.

The answer is actually what has shaped Goddess Esthetics over the last six years.

Because skin doesn’t exist in isolation.

Stress, hormones, sleep, nutrition, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, and the way we care for ourselves all influence how we feel—and often how our skin responds.

Throughout my career, I realized many of my appointments naturally evolved into conversations far beyond skincare. To better reflect the level of care each appointment deserves, Brazilian waxing now offers two appointment types based on your maintenance schedule—not simply your hair length.

Maintenance Brazilian

30 Minutes • $65

Designed for guests returning every 4–6 weeks, allowing us to efficiently maintain your results while still providing the thorough care you expect.

New Client or 6+ Weeks Since Last Wax

45 Minutes • $75

This extended appointment includes additional time for consultation, aftercare education, addressing ingrown hairs when appropriate, and safely removing longer or more established hair growth without rushing your experience.

As always, my Brazilian service remains intentionally comprehensive. Hair extending beyond the traditional bikini area is included whenever needed rather than being treated as multiple add-on services elsewhere. I believe your appointment should feel complete—not pieced together.

📅 Updated Appointment Policy

To continue providing every client with dedicated, uninterrupted care, my appointment policy has also been simplified.

* Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee. (Example: $100 service booked, $50 cancellation fee)
* No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
* Any unpaid cancellation fee, failed payment, or no-show will require a non-refundable deposit before future appointments can be reserved.

As a small, independently owned business, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Last-minute cancellations are rarely able to be filled and directly impact the sustainability of my business.

While job security isn’t something that comes with owning a small business, mutual respect, integrity, and open communication are what keep my doors open. I truly appreciate every client who values the time we’ve committed to one another, and that respect is never taken for granted.

It Started With a Choice

Happy Sunday,

I hope everyone is doing well or doing their best. I realize that not everyone knows how Goddess Esthetics got started, and what better time to share than my upcoming 6th anniversary of being in business! So, here it is:

In 2020, I had about $15,000 saved after my divorce and moving back home to New York with my children. Every dollar had a purpose: a down payment on a house so we could finally have a place of our own.

A front door that belonged to us.

A fresh start.

A little stability after a season that had felt anything but stable.

Then the world shut down.

COVID arrived like a storm no one saw coming. Businesses went dark. Plans dissolved overnight. Fear hung in the air like a fog.

And somehow, in the middle of all that uncertainty, my life arrived at a crossroads.

At the time, I was working for a small business medspa. The owner had given me something invaluable: confidence in my abilities and a glimpse into what life could look like beyond corporate esthetics. She helped pave the path toward believing I could do more than simply work in the industry—I could build something of my own.

Then COVID happened.

Like so many small businesses, difficult decisions had to be made, and eventually the medspa closed its doors.

Suddenly, the path I had been walking no longer existed.

And almost at the exact same time, another small business owner took a chance on me and offered me a newly vacant room inside her tattoo studio.

What felt like an ending and an opportunity arrived at my doorstep at the same time.

A room.

A chance.

A risk.

And standing between two futures, I had to choose.

The practical choice was obvious.

Keep the money.

Buy the house.

Find another job.

Wait until the world felt safer.

But some people are wired differently.

Some people walk into a room, see what’s missing, and can’t stop imagining what could exist instead.

Those people often become entrepreneurs.

Not because it’s easy.

Not because it’s profitable.

But because once they see the vision, they can’t unsee it.

The choice wasn’t only about money.

It was about time.

As a single parent, I wasn’t just wearing the hat of a businesswoman. I was wearing the hats of both mom and dad. Every school call, every sick day, every appointment, every unexpected crisis landed on my plate.

I wanted to build something that would allow me to be present for my children in a way traditional employment often couldn’t.

I wanted the freedom to leave in the middle of the day if one of my kids needed me.

I wanted to attend the school events.

I wanted to be the parent who showed up.

Not when a manager approved it.

Not when it was convenient.

But when my children needed me most.

Building a business wasn’t just about creating income.

It was about creating a life.

At the same time, I couldn’t shake another feeling.

After working in both corporate esthetics and small business esthetics, I saw incredible strengths in each model—and limitations in both.

Corporate esthetics offered structure, education, consistency, and professionalism.

Small business esthetics offered heart, connection, freedom, and personalization.

Both were beautiful.

Both were incomplete.

And I couldn’t stop wondering:

What if there was a way to combine them?

What if skincare could be results-driven and deeply personal?

What if beauty, healing, education, connection, and self-care could exist under one roof?

That question followed me everywhere.

Eventually, it became Goddess Esthetics.

So I did the irrational thing.

I spent the house money.

I opened my doors in the middle of a pandemic.

And the universe immediately said, “Oh, we’re doing hard mode.”

The first home of Goddess Esthetics was a tiny room inside a tattoo studio. While the world debated restrictions and businesses struggled to survive, I learned how to build something from almost nothing.

One client.

One service.

One day at a time.

A year later, I made another leap into an 11x12 suite at Sola Salons.

Eleven feet by twelve feet.

That’s it.

A room so small most people wouldn’t think twice about it.

To me, it felt like possibility.

The rent consumed nearly 40% of my income. On paper, it looked irresponsible. On paper, I probably shouldn’t have done it.

But sometimes you have to trust the vision before the evidence arrives.

That tiny room became a lifeboat.

A place where Goddess Esthetics found its footing.

A place where relationships deepened.

A place where strangers became clients and clients became friends.

And then, as if the story knew it was time for another chapter, one of those clients changed everything.

Through Lisa, I was introduced to Shelley Hoffmann of HHC Realty—a dynamic, inspiring woman whose belief in people is matched only by her ability to create opportunities for them.

Together, they helped me find the space I now call home in Baldwinsville.

Looking back now, I realize something.

Goddess Esthetics was never built by one person.

It was built by a community.

By people taking chances on me.

By women supporting women.

By clients who became friends.

By referrals.

By encouragement.

By kindness.

By every appointment booked, every review written, every gift card purchased, every recommendation shared.

There were years when I genuinely didn’t know if I’d make it.

Years when I questioned myself.

Years when quitting would have been easier.

Years when the weight of being a business owner, a mother, and the sole person responsible for holding everything together felt impossibly heavy.

But six years later, here we are.

And what humbles me most isn’t that the business survived.

It’s that so many of you chose to come along for the journey.

In a world where supporting a small business is harder than ever, you continue to choose mine.

You trust me with your skin.

Your confidence.

Your stories.

Sometimes your tears.

Sometimes your healing.

And that is a privilege I will never take for granted.

Every appointment has helped me provide for my children.

Every referral has helped keep the lights on.

Every visit has fed my soul.

And I don’t know if there will ever be enough words to fully express how grateful I am that six years later, Goddess Esthetics is still here.

This October marks 12 years in this industry, and I still wake up excited to learn, grow, and find new ways to serve the people who trust me. I’m currently pursuing certifications in personal training and nutrition because caring for people has never been about one service—it’s always been about helping them feel better in their bodies, their minds, and their lives.

So before I share my anniversary specials tomorrow, I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for believing in me before there was evidence.

Thank you for supporting a dream that started in a tiny room with house money, a vision, and a stubborn refusal to give up.
