Five years ago today I picked up my clippers at Vinny’s 💈 and apparently nobody has kicked me out yet.
It’s been five years of fades, laughs, nonstop ball busting, and learning from some really talented barbers who somehow manage to teach and talk trash at the same time.
I’m really thankful for the mentorship and the opportunity to be part of such a great, growing local business.
Wouldn’t have it any other way… even if I do have to hear their nonsense all day.

This young client came in wanting his 2-strand twists taken out and redone… but once I got into his hair, I realized the twists had fully locked together underneath. At that point we had two options:
✨ Comb them out (which would’ve taken hours… if not days), or
✨ Work with the new growth, re-section, maintain the locks, and create fresh 2-strand twists from the newly groomed dreadlocks.
He chose the second option — and honestly, it came out so clean. 🙌🏽
I’m obsessed with the before & after and the time-lapse of bringing his hair back to life. 💛
