Thissss 😍😍😍. What looks like a simple dimensional auburn has been QUITE the journey! Today was 2 hours of foiling and various toners to blend her “salvation” color with her regrowth and eventually get her back close to her natural strawberry.

What makes this transformation comical (she’s knows I’m poking fun 😂) is that she is one of my former athletes with the most beautiful naturally strawberry blonde hair. When she was in high school I made her promise not to color it (and she agreed!). Skip to years later, she’d talked me into doing some balayage to add some highlights and it was quite pretty and natural! Skip ahead again to June I get a message essentially- “I black box dyed my hair months ago, tried to get it out, something went horrible wrong with the color undo so I bleached it and somehow turned it back to black. Help cause I’m having a lowkey breakdown”
Thankfully her old teammate was my 1st client that day so I was able to make a squeeze in happen to at least color balance her to something livable until we could safely start the journey back toward her natural. Please enjoy this before, step one and step two after!! Please also remember to leave the color changes to a professional 😘🫶🏼😂

WHAT A FUN TRANSFORMATION?! Emma came to me as a new client in May with an incredible blanket of hair and ready for a big chop so we started there months back and she’s been rocking her fun textured bob since… then I get the “I think I have a fun idea for my hair” and we lit my girl up! How gorgeous?! Thank you for letting me play!

Leave it to me to have a stacked day behind the chair and life being so beautifully full outside of Mane Haven to almost miss honoring today… 6 years ago today I took my 1st clients in my Salon Suite! I went into business for myself during the reopening phases of the pandemic and while navigating so many unknowns one thing was certain- I was going to get back to taking care of my clients and in turn you have all been loyal, supportive and truly have made my career a dream!

In the 6 years since opening Mane Haven and the 12+ years behind the chair, I have been beyond blessed to work with the BEST clients. I get to share life with each of you one hair appointment and often milestone at a time. Thank you for trusting me with your hair dreams and your time! I feel so grateful to get to make each experience special- be it a new cut, a big color change or just a maintenance visit perhaps with a side of connection and support… every appointment is special to me!

Cheers to many more years! Thank you all SO much for your continued support, new referrals and for making Mane Haven so wonderful.

My wedding circuit has finally calmed down enough that I get to step back into bridal hair a bit. I recently had the pleasure of working the wedding of one of my dear clients, Ashley! Here’s a few shots of the down styles on the bridesmaids and updos for her and her mother-in-law. Such a fun group to spend the day with and truly a treat to be a part of making you feel beautiful on your special day! Special bonus was linking up with my friend Julia Heim✨ who did the makeup.

1st before and after of 2026. We love a client requested plot twist!! My girl has ALL the hair and she was ready for a few inches off and after lots of years of blonde variations and the current lived in/grey blending foilyage (which was like 6+ months ago) she requested darker! Main requirement was richness and shine… mission accomplished!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOLLY! We have been rocking out hair transformations for YEARSSSSSS and I think we are both just getting better with age?! A few weeks ago I got the honor do dolling up my long time client and friend Sami and her “I do crew.” Such a treat to have known her since high school and get to be a part of her special day!

Isn’t she lovely?! It don’t do a ton of wedding work these days, but when I do it’s because it’s by special request. I not only got to stand by one of my best friends as she married her guy, I also got to create this upstyle for the special day! Honored is an understatement (and even more thrilled it held up to the Key Largo heat and humidity). Congrats and thank you for letting me be a special part of your special day!

Mackenzie wanted dimension, volume and texture added back to her beautiful natural warm blonde. She gets super light on her own so we added depth and some balayage ribbons for some blended contrast, visual dimension and a lot more layers. Love this perfect bronze blonde!!
