If someone had told me 15 years ago that I’d become a personal care product manufacturer, I would’ve laughed like, “Me? Making shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body butter? Be serious.”

But the truth is… the path was always there. I just kept following it. One idea, one lesson, one formula, and one “okay, let’s figure this out” at a time.

Turns out, inevitable can look a lot like hard work in disguise.

In 2018, I was gathering data to present for a pitch competition and what I found really pi**ed me off. 👸🏾Black women really are thee most unprotected and violated people on this planet. It made me sad and angry but also motivated me to be part of a solution in the best way I know how, science. What motivates you to do what you do?

I didn’t necessarily write in the job description that you have to be goofy to work at the Fancy Factory but here we are. At least the know my brand identity. 🤦🏾‍♀️
