As an owner of a salon that provides self-care services to others, it's important to sometimes step away and focus on my own self-care.

The stress, the grind, the sleepless nights, the mind that doesn't shut off, the care that's provided to everyone else, and so on and so on, can be taxing.

So today, I was intentional about being present with Nisha. I scheduled a foot bath and tranquil massage at The Ivy Hotel and soaked up every moment of peace that I could.
