Sundays after church are always the best for me. I love to explore. Today I took time to smell the roses and enjoy an eggcustard snowball!!!!

Watching Straw on Netflix hit home in a deep way. As a single mother of three, life after divorce hasn’t been easy. I’ve walked through seasons where everything felt like too much—trying to keep a roof over our heads, pay the bills, raise my children, and push through college. Just like in the movie, I’ve had moments where I couldn’t see a way out, but somehow, I kept going.

This film reminded me that we all have a breaking point, but we also have a strength within us that refuses to give up. I’ve cried, prayed, struggled, and kept pushing—trusting that God sees it all. That my story isn’t over.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed and unseen, know that you're not alone. Keep standing. Keep believing. Healing, purpose, and breakthrough are still possible—one straw at a time.

Sometimes I buy stuff without realizing how much it benefits me. These two are the perfect match. Yet, they are amazing alone.
