A few years back Tris Imboden, the legendary drummer for the band Chicago, walked through our doors for a visit. One of those moments where you’re casually chatting and then it hits you… wait… you’re THAT guy. 🤯

Running a salon for all these years has given me so many incredible moments and surprise visits from some amazingly talented people. I’ll never stop being grateful for the stories this little place holds.

February 24, 2020 — The Day the Queen Walked In 👑✨

Some days change you forever.

I wasn’t even supposed to be working that Monday.
My employee called out… and I remember thinking, “Of course.”

Little did I know — that “inconvenience” was actually divine timing.

I got a call from the Four Seasons for a last-minute appointment. Two guests. Tight schedule. No big deal. I said yes without thinking twice.

Then the door opened…

And in walked Céline Dion.
Yes. The Céline Dion. The voice. The legend. The Queen. 👑

Time stopped. My heart dropped. I tried to stay professional… but let’s be honest — I cried. Actual tears. Right there in my salon. Starstruck doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Out of all the places in the world she could have been… she walked into mine.

Looking back, I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe in alignment. I believe in preparation meeting opportunity. I believe in showing up — even on the days you weren’t supposed to.

February 24, 2020 will forever be one of the most surreal, humbling, and magical moments of my life.

Grateful. Honored. Still in awe. ✨
