Studies show that anxiety is incredibly common, and for some, even something as simple as a haircut can feel overwhelming.

That’s one of the reasons I created a private salon suite.

No crowded waiting room. No dozens of stylists working around you. No pressure to make small talk if you don’t feel like it.

Just a peaceful, relaxing space where you can unwind, be yourself, and leave feeling a little better than when you arrived.

Did you know I’m actually a licensed barber?

A lot of people assume I went to cosmetology school for color, but the truth is that most of my color knowledge was learned after I got licensed.

Over the last 16 years, I’ve invested thousands of dollars into continuing education, certifications, classes, online training, and hands-on experience. I’ve learned through trial and error, working alongside incredibly talented stylists, and spending years behind the chair perfecting my craft.

My time at Hair Cuttery was especially valuable because it gave me the opportunity to work with and learn from amazing stylists while becoming highly educated in the Redken color line.

That’s one of the things I love most about this industry—you’re never done learning. Every class, every client, and every challenge teaches you something new.

And after all these years, I still get excited to learn more. 🩵
