I’m remembering one of my favorite clients (J9) and her daughter! Shout out to J9 (Janine), as I call her. Four years ago on this day, I had the pleasure of meeting her daughter and styling them both. They both got “Double Flips,” which for those who follow me, means a loc retwist and a simple style.
The Queen 👸🏽, J9, received a special loc bun—an “ice cream 🍨 bun”—because it looks just like soft-serve 🍦 ice cream on a cone, with side-swept double strand bangs. Her daughter, the Princess, got a similar style with two 2️⃣ ice cream buns and face-framing double strand bangs.
