Bandera ISD is proud to announce Dr. Patrick Sizemore as the Director of Curriculum and Instructional Technology for the 2026–2027 school year.

Dr. Sizemore has dedicated the past seven years to Bandera ISD, serving as Assistant Principal, Bandera Middle School Principal, and currently as Bandera High School Principal. Throughout his time in the district, he has been known for his strong leadership and his ability to connect with students, staff, and families in a meaningful way.

Superintendent Gary Bitzkie shared that Dr. Sizemore brings a forward-thinking mindset and a deep understanding of both instruction and innovation. He noted that Patrick has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead with purpose, support his teams, and implement systems that benefit both teaching and learning across campuses. His experience and vision make him well-suited to guide the district’s continued growth in technology and curriculum.

Dr. Sizemore will succeed David Brown, who will retire at the end of this year after many years of dedicated service to Bandera ISD.
