Our Mother’s Day event with The Suites Studio was such a huge success that it turned into a TWO day celebration! We had lots of women in for snacks, drinks, pampering, and discounts!

Due to a shocking increase in No-shows that is catastrophically effecting the finances of my business, I am forced to shift my cancellation & booking policy.
In order to hold an appointment, clients must pay a non-refundable 20% deposit when they book, and cancellations must be made 48 hours before an appointment.
I am hoping that this will shift the trend of habitual late cancellations, no-shows, and keeping expired cards on file. If I see that my time (and the time of other paying clients) is still being disrespected, I will have to shift my policy further.
I don’t want to shift the policy, but as usual, the few ruined it for the many, and I no longer have a choice but to behave more like a business than a buddy. 😭 This is the only way to keep my business alive and well for those who want to keep getting my services.
As always, situations like emergencies and illness will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and exceptions will likely be made, because sometimes life happens and family matters.
This is not directed at any one person, this has simply become a cumulative problem, and I need to adjust. Hope you can all adjust with me. 🙏🏼

Let me re introduce myself. My name is Jaime, I am the owner of The Suites Studio. I have been in the Hair industry for 24 years. I pride myself on making my clients feel comfortable and at home. I specialize in lived in color. For those who are unfamiliar with that is it’s a low maintenance color technique that offer’s lot of natural dimension. I love do formal hair and make up for all events. I also offer Lash lifts and tints and i am in the process of getting certified for all extension applications.
I Wanted to clarify something with everyone on this page.
I get asked sometimes why I do raffles vs giveaways and why I don’t do them anymore.
1. I do still do them, but the algorithm probably didn’t let you see them.
2. I do them less because barely anyone was entering at one point, so the extra work didn’t seem worth it.
WHY I do them.
A giveaway is something I do to make my clients feel engaged with and excited. I like giving people the chance to win something for free. I do these less often but I still do them.
The RAFFLES. There’s a misconception that when I do a raffle, I’m pocketing the money. Although I haven’t done many, the recent raffles I’ve don’t have all be to accrue money for me to DONATE. I have a LOT of clients and I’m a part of a big community, and with that comes connection with a lot of causes, charities, and gofundme’s. I assure you, my aim for a raffle isn’t to just make a quick buck. Raffles always get a lot less engagement than a straight giveaway, and they involve a LOT of work and promotion (and they often cost me money), so I don’t like to do them unless it’s for a good cause.
With that said, I will be doing a very big raffle within the next couple of weeks, and I will be partnering with other businesses on this one. We have a close friend who is battling stage 4 cancer, and the cost is astronomical. We do not want money to stand in the way of life-saving options, so we are pulling together as many ideas and prayers as we can get to support this dear family.
Please consult your heart on this one when you see the raffle get posted. I will never judge the vacations people take and the nail appointments and the drinks out and all the little expenses I see people spend- because frankly my business is a luxury service, too. And I like my little treats. But I know we all have a tiny margin for giving. I know we can make a difference, and one day if it’s YOU, I will be making a donation for you as well. Even $7-10 dollars from lots of people can add up to a huge blessing for someone. This means a lot to me.
