What This Work Has Taught Me — 01

After more than 12 years of doing this work, I’ve realized it has become about so much more than skin, beauty, or even relaxation.

People come into my room and we talk about life. Grief. Relationships. Fear. Change. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we cry. Sometimes we sit quietly.

And through all of it, my clients have taught me just as much as I could ever hope to give them.

So I’m starting this little series to share some of the wisdom I’ve collected through years of caring for people in some of their most raw and vulnerable moments.

This work has taught me that being present might be one of the greatest forms of self care we have.
