For decades, the skincare industry has focused almost exclusively on the surface of the skin.
Creams. Serums. Peels. Lasers.
And while those things have their time and place, they don’t address what’s happening beneath the skin.
What drew me to Facial Muscle Therapy was becoming fascinated by the connection between our emotional experiences and our physical bodies.
The face is made up of muscles, fascia, connective tissue, and a nervous system that is constantly responding to the world around us. The way we move through life can leave an imprint on these tissues just as surely as it leaves an imprint on our minds.
For years, we’ve talked about aging, wrinkles, and skin health without paying much attention to the condition of the tissue underneath.
That’s why my work has become increasingly holistic.
Because sometimes the root cause runs deeper than anything a lotion, serum, or peel can reach.
Healthy skin is important.
But I’m interested in caring for the whole person beneath it.

A few months ago, I sat down and wrote a list of goals for this little sanctuary.
One of them was to host inspiring guest speakers. People whose work genuinely move and impact others.
This weekend, I welcomed Molly Donlan into my space for a workshop filled with connection, creativity, and a whole lot of magic.
I’m sharing this because sometimes the things we want feel impossibly far away. But the moment I stopped focusing on how it would happen and started trusting that it would, doors began opening!
The universe can’t meet you halfway if you never take the first step.
Believe in yourself first and foremost. Believe that what you’re wishing for is already making its way to you.
Then keep showing up as the person who is ready to receive it.
And when it arrives, don’t forget to thank the version of yourself who believed before there was proof. ✨
