Here is info on how that scam works.

In a nutshell, they requested facebook to remove you as admin, which triggered facebook into sending you that first message. That got you (and anybody else) that received that message to be nervous and concerned.

Then they followed it up with the other message, telling you that you had violated the rules, and asking you for personal information...your phone number and birthdate.

Now they are going to try to use that info to steal control of your account
