Unfortunately, Facebook is restricting the special effects makeup I post. It's still up on my page, but my page wont be recommended to anyone unless I censor fake 🩸 or change the way I post things - I guess its a compliment that the AI thinks my creations are actually real! Here are some photos of my Pennywise the Clown (Stephen King's IT) inspired look from back in April. This design took around 10 minutes to pull together. Its simple but I like the way it turned out, and I cant wait to use it as the inspiration for some more intricate designs to come. I dont use face paint much in my makeup, but expect to see more of it used through 2026!

Hi!
My name is Catie and I'm an 18-year-old girl from New Zealand. Since 2022, I've been teaching myself special-effects (SFX) makeup.

In 2024 and 2025 I was the Makeup Leader in my high school drama productions, designing and creating complex designs for over 30+ cast members and directing others for which I received excellence grades. Now that I've just graduated high school, I intend to keep showcasing my learning journey and one day hope to have my work featured in professional productions.

🧟‍♀️ Halloween Makeup 2025: Zombie 🧟‍♀️
I decided to recreate a look inspired by my Night of the Living Dead design from 2024 for this year’s Halloween. It took about 3½ hours to complete and draws on classic zombie film aesthetics using special effects makeup.
