I’m sure you guys have met Savannah! If you were in the salon this summer, she was assisting us. Savannah is part of an Avery Connect Summer internship. Avery Connect is a program that puts teenagers into internships. This helps determine whether or not they want to start a career in that field. It seems that Savannah had a blast and learned a lot about our industry. We certainly enjoyed having her! She is set to enroll in cosmetology school for the fall. We wish her all the best! Show her some love! 💕🥰💕

We look forward to watching her grow! I would like to also take a moment to brag on Avery Connect. This is an amazing organization with some really dedicated individuals that are pouring lots of time and energy into these kids. They are a real blessing to our community. I would encourage anyone reading this to find a way to support them! They have mentors that work one on one with these kids. They assist them up to the point of even helping them set up bank accounts. I just can’t say enough good things! They’re the real deal. ❤️

Hey tribe! We want to take a moment to recognize a great organization. Bible Lands is a group that helps people in foreign countries. Specifically, what they are showcasing here is a handmade rug woven by women in villages in Kurdistan. Doug is a friend of mine who runs the ministry and assists the women in generating income to support their families. The ministry serves exile communities that have fled persecution in their home countries of Iraq, Syria and Iran. These rugs are amazing and are a great way to show your love for others. Bible Lands serves the following countries:
South Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Amernia, Turkey, and Iran. Their work focuses on the proclamation of truth in word and deed. ❤️
