I’ll be there representing Maine Seastone Studios and talking about massage, pain management, and how massage may fit into your overall approach to taking care of yourself.

I’m heading to Portland for a weekend of continuing education with Dawn Lewis of Full Circle School of Massage Therapy!

I’ll be studying SMRT: Hips, Low Back & Abdomen, a class I’ve been excited about all year. After taking Dawn’s Shoulder & Rib class last September, I know I’m in for an incredible weekend of learning. I can’t wait to bring these new techniques back to my practice and use them with clients who could benefit.

The office is closed until Monday while I head to Portland for a weekend of continuing education!

I’ll be taking SMRT (Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique): Hips, Lower Back & Abdomen with instructor Dawn Lewis of Full Circle School of Massage Therapy.

Last September, I took the SMRT: Shoulder & Rib class with Full Circle School of Massage and it was a total game changer in my practice. The techniques and perspective I gained have become an important part of how I assess and approach certain patterns of pain and restriction with my clients.

I’m incredibly excited to continue learning with Dawn, dive deeper into the hips, lower back and abdomen, and bring new knowledge and skills back to my massage practice.

I’m also really looking forward to seeing some of the talented Maine massage therapists I met at last year’s class!

See you back in the office on Monday.
