With all the perfumery work we do, it can sometimes be less obvious that we practice aromatherapy as well. We carry over 100 pure essential oils sourced from over a dozen reliable and ethical suppliers. Kamala originally started this business selling essential oils and aromatherapy blends only. The perfumery came later. Kamala has a diploma in Aromadermatology from The Tisserand Institute as well as two certificates in Essential Oil Safety. n 2024 I was privileged to join in the fifth anniversary celebrations for Barrington’s elegant Perfume Passage, a gorgeous museum of perfume history and perfume packaging. For that event, I taught a workshop on scent blending. My eager students had ingredients such as Golden Sandalwood, Fresh Cut Grass, and Green Fig with which to blend, and their creations were greatly inspiring to me. Although the Bristol Renaissance Faire was cancelled this past weekend due to dangerous levels of smoke from the Canadian wildfires, the Colorado Renaissance Festival went on in its full glory. My lovely Colorado minions held it together beautifully. Can’t wait to see them when I return there this week!
