Phase 3 policy on Blow Drying

Dear Artistic Designs community,

Starting July 6th

The health Department is still recommending that blow drying services remain limited. Blow drying may pose a higher risk of COVID-19 transmission. Because of the higher risk, we will continue to not blow dry on our main floor. For an occasional blow dry service for a special occasion, we will be setting up a room upstairs for blow drying. That room will have air conditioning, ventilating and an air purifier for your safety as well as ours. If you’d like to add this service to your already booked service there will have to be extra time booked off as well as an extra fee of $10. Or if you’d like to book just a blow out there will be an extra $5.00 added to the normal price.

Friendly reminder of some changes made due to COVID-19

Dear Artistic Designs community,

The last few months have been challenging but we couldn't be happier to open our doors and welcome you back. As you are aware, state and local officials have set forth new requirements and we want to let you know that our salon is reopening in accordance with new safety standards.

Please make note of our new operating standards so that you are prepared prior to your next scheduled service with us.

NEW OPERATING STANDARDS:

CHECKING IN: We ask that you remain in your car and notify us via phone call or text message that you are outside and we’ll let you know when your stylist is ready to see you.

FEELING ILL: Upon arrival we reserve the right to take your temperature before entering the salon. If you're experiencing any symptoms such as a fever, cough or sore throat etc, we are happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you’re feeling well.

FACE MASKS: Face masks are required for all staff and clients. All masks must be fitted with ear loops as they must be worn during all services. No bandanas or cloth coverings tied behind the head will be allowed. If you have forgotten your mask, we have masks available for purchase.

HAND SANITIZER: Hand sanitizer will be available at every station and at the reception desk.

CLEANING AND SANITIZING: Your stylist is required to sanitize and disinfect all work stations and tools between appointments per state and local guidelines. Please be patient as they take the time to thoroughly clean.

PRODUCT PURCHASES: At this time, should you need products we ask that you call ahead for curbside service. This will allow us to follow the suggested limit of clients inside our salon.

LIMITED GUESTS: Please only ONE CLIENT per service at a time. Individuals without appointments (especially children) are not allowed in the salon unless they have a service scheduled with another stylist.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: For the foreseeable future, we will not be offering beverages, snacks or reading material.

PERSONAL ITEMS: Please limit the items you carry into the salon to your wallet, phone and keys.

TRANSACTIONS: Our POS terminal /touch pad is disinfected frequently and if you prefer you may read your card information so that your stylist or the receptionist can manually enter your payment for you. If paying with cash PLEASE make sure to have exact change.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: It goes without saying that we have missed you! But for the time being we cannot hug or shake hands. Please know that we are overjoyed to have you back!

We know these are unusual times but they are temporary. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while we work to be both accommodating and conscientious of you and our team.

The Days Finally HERE!

Dear Artistic Designs community,

It's official - the salon doors are now open! We still have a few spots available for color, cuts, manicures and pedicures reparative services so if you have not rescheduled your appointment or, are looking to bump up your next appointment, please contact us now as these will go fast!

We’ve Missed You!

Dear Artistic Designs community,

It's been far too long and we hope that you have been well during these challenging times.

Well, we’re happy to let you know that there is some good news to share - there is an end to all of this in sight and have plans to re-open our doors on June 1st!

Hours will be changing slightly depending on the stylist.

We will be operating by appointment only.

We are rescheduling our March, April and May hair and nail services that were cancelled due to mandated COVID-19 closure orders. As you can understand we are rebooking of these appointments and will be calling schedule after the holiday weekend . Rest assured we will make sure that you're taken care of and that we are so appreciative of your patience in waiting for your stylist.

We Miss you!

Dear Artistic Designs community,

We’ve been working hard to get the salon properly sanitized and ready for your arrival!!

Prior to opening:
- we will be calling to reschedule your services once we have a solid opening date.
- Extended call times when booking to ensure appropriate timing and answering any questions.

New sanitation protocols:
- we kindly ask to check in by calling or texting the salon or stylist when arrived to enter the salon ( to minimize clients interacting)
- All guests are required to wear a mask. Gloves are optional
- Touch less temperature readings upon arrival
- If you are not feeling well to reschedule your appointment
- Hand washing before and after services
- One guest per appointment ( no children, friends in waiting area)
- Beverage services are temporarily unavailable. We ask you NOT to bring any personal beverage with you.

We want to thank you for your patience during these challenging times we hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
