Ella D does life
Hi, I'm Ella! Sharing all my fave hair tips from a stylist of over a decade. Along with my fave beauty and home finds
I was the biggest red light panel hater until this one shut me up.
I’ve owned more red light devices than I want to admit, and most of them did half the job and sat in a drawer the rest of the time. This one stacks 5 wavelengths — amber, red, and three levels of deep-NIR — in a panel that goes from a hands-free stand to a wearable strap in seconds. Knee after a workout, shoulder while I cook, face before bed, same panel, zero excuses. Fully cordless, 50+ minutes of runtime, so I’m not stuck next to an outlet the whole time.
Individual results may vary.

I wasn’t expecting a setting powder to have skincare benefits… but this one surprised me. ✨
The new bareMinerals Daily Dose Mineral Veil is more than a finishing powder. It helps set makeup for up to 12 hours while controlling shine, blurring the look of pores, and supporting your skin barrier with a talc-free formula. It gives that soft-focus finish without looking heavy or chalky, which is exactly what I want for everyday makeup.
If you love makeup that looks like real skin instead of makeup sitting on your skin, this one is definitely worth checking out.
The link is in this video and in the comments! Have you tried the new Daily Dose version yet? 🤍
I didn’t expect an oil body scrub to feel this satisfying. ✨
These new Saltair Vitamin C Oil Body Scrubs exfoliate with sugar while a blend of nourishing oils helps leave skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated instead of stripped. The texture melts down beautifully, the scents are incredible, and my shower honestly feels a little more like a spa now.
I have all three scents:
🍊 Coral Coast
🤍 Santal Bloom
🌊 Salt Water Vanilla
If your skin has been feeling rough, dull, or just needs a little extra love, these are such a fun upgrade to your body care routine.
Which scent would you grab first? 👇 The link is in this video and in the comments.

I wasn’t planning on upgrading my LED mask.
Honestly, I wanted to know if the new one was actually different or if it was just new packaging.
After comparing both, here’s what I found:
✨ The new INIA GLOW 4D keeps the red light therapy and adds a second near-infrared wavelength (940nm) alongside 850nm, plus an updated flexible design for a more comfortable fit.
Does that mean the old version suddenly stopped working? No.
If you already have the original and you’re using it consistently, that’s still the most important part.
But if you’re deciding between the two today, I’d personally choose the newer version because of the added wavelength and updated design.
I linked the mask in the comments if you’re curious.
Have you ever upgraded a beauty device and actually noticed a difference?

wish someone told me this in my early 20s 🫢 lips have zero melanin, which means they have zero natural defense against sun damage — one of the most overlooked anti-aging habits is just… putting SPF on your lips daily. Prequel Lip Visor has become my everyday non-negotiable, I keep it in my car so it’s impossible to forget. non-sticky, no white cast, feels like a lip tint instead of a chore. adding this to my skincare essentials, results may vary but I’m not waiting until my 50s to start 🤍

POV: my hair finally looks like I have a stylist on retainer 🌊 grabbed the Babe Waves X and it’s giving soft, shiny loose waves — not that crimpy look, just effortless mermaid hair. tourmaline barrels heat evenly so no patchy spots, works whether your hair’s fine, thick, short or long. genuinely takes me like 5 minutes and zero skill required lol. it’s in my shop if you want the easiest hair waver upgrade of your life 🤍
This is your sign to relearn how you apply Dream Coat for curly hair. The formula works by coating each strand in a lightweight polymer that locks out humidity and defines the curl — but it only works where it lands. That means sectioning matters more than anything. Top of the section, flip it, spray underneath. Work through every piece until hair is fully saturated. Skipping the underside means that curl has zero protection and will frizz the second humidity hits it. This is the application method that actually gets you the bouncy, frizz-free, crunchy-free curls people rave about. Your curl routine doesn’t need more products — it needs better technique. Individual results may vary.
okay I need to talk about wavelengths because I feel like this is the one thing that actually separates a device that works from one that’s just glowing at you 🙃
the number — the nm — tells you *how deep* the light travels into your tissue. that’s the whole thing. deeper = different target.
**630nm (red light)** 🔴
works at the surface — epidermis and upper dermis. this is where you’re getting collagen and elastin stimulation, improved circulation, texture, glow. this is what most “red light” devices are doing.
**850nm (near-infrared)** — invisible to the eye 👁️
goes deeper into the dermis and superficial subcutaneous tissue. supports collagen production AND circulation at a deeper level. this is the wavelength that separates a solid LED mask from a placebo.
**940nm** — deeper still
now we’re reaching tissue that 850 can’t fully touch. boosts blood flow, helps calm deeper inflammation, faster recovery from irritation. this is what the INIA GLOW 4D face maskruns on — dual 850+940.
**1064nm** — this is what the Glow Flex panel adds 🤍
the deepest penetrating wavelength in INIA’s lineup. we’re now targeting deep nasolabial folds, forehead lines, the structural layers that masks alone can’t reliably reach. this is why panels hit differently than masks — more irradiance, larger coverage area, deeper access.
together, these wavelengths aren’t competing. they’re layered. surface renewal + dermal collagen + deep tissue repair + structural anti-aging. that’s the system.
I use mine 3-5 times a week and it’s become genuinely non-negotiable in my routine. linked in the video if you want to look at the specs yourself — I’d rather you understand *what* you’re buying than just take my word for it.

I’m just sayin…. Lips have the thinnest skin and we should protect them aesthetically AND safety.

Copper peptides used to be a luxury skincare thing. Like, the kind of ingredient you’d see in a $200 serum and keep scrolling. COSRX put GHK-Cu — Copper Tripeptide-1, the ingredient that literally gives this serum its blue color — into a formula with bakuchiol and a 5-peptide complex, and made it actually accessible.
Bakuchiol is the plant-derived retinol alternative that gives you the firming and texture benefits without the irritation, so if retinol has ever wrecked your skin barrier, this is worth knowing about.
Lightweight, absorbs fast, no stickiness. Fragrance free. Passed irritation testing with a 0.00 score — sensitive skin included.
Skin that looks firmer, more plump, more bouncy. I kind of can’t stop looking at it in the mirror tbh.
