Last week this 12 year old little girl came in. She loves to swim, and she is very very tenderheaded. I worked on her for 3 hours. She took pain reliever before we started and couldn't handle it anymore. Her mother informed me that she goes through this weekly with her daughter and this is the worst it had ever been. The little girl asked her mother if she could shave her head. The mother said no, and I of course agreed. But I made another suggestion that maybe we do a pixie and the mom said that she hadn't thought of that. And we then looked up pictures. I told her she can still look cute and feminine with a short cut and that it will be easier to maintain for everyone. I'm pretty happy with the results! (I have the mother's and daughter's permission to post this). So the moral of the story is please please please take care of your hair! I know it may be a bit of a hassle at times but you don't want to end up like this. This is just one week of swimming and not brushing nor washing her hair after. It can happen to anyone.
