Hairstylists, you do NOT need more clients to make more money right now.

Most hairstylists have extra cash hidden in their current appointments… but aren’t sure how to unlock that income growth.

That’s why I created the She’s Making More Challenge

To show you exactly how Alis Dokakis {Curated Color + Luxe Cuts} 🇬🇷🇺🇸 made +$602 in one week

🚫 She did not raise her prices
🚫 and she did not book more clients

What she did do will SHOCK you in its simplicity.

Round 2 of the She’s Making More challenge starts September 1, but to get results like Alis, you need to know your numbers ✅

That’s why it’s free to join She Owns Solo, where I host the SMM challenge.

First week, we’re going to find your profit margins and fix your pricing.

Then on September 1, you’re going to scale your income DRAMATICALLY in 30 days.

The Beauty School set our bodies up for failure.

You were told that you have to “put in the time” since Beauty School... but somewhere along the way, that just became your standard.

Now you’re 15, 20, 30+ years in and the chiropractor is a non-negotiable.

Your shoulder, knees, back, feet, neck (need I say more?), continue to suffer because you feel like you can’t slow down without losing money.

I se you working those 8+ hour days...
..and then your off time is just recovery.

There’s almost never time for life, it hurts to pick your kids up, and everyday feels like absolute torture.

Physically and emotionally.

You know what the cure would be?

✅ Becoming more efficient with your time and making more money than you do right now — working 3 days a week.

🙋🏻‍♀️ I’m here to tell you that you CAN increase your income while working less.

I would know...
.. it’s how I went from $5k/month working 5+ days a week > to $25k/month working ONLY 3 📈

My body thanked me after, and my kids noticed their mom was more present than ever.

Life changed, and it felt like a deep breath for the first time in a long time.

This Sunday, I’m going to expose the exact strategy that helped me make $25k/mo. as an independent stylist and here’s all the info ⬇️

$25k months as a balayage specialist… working 3 days a week

Feels unbelievable.

And it was, till it became a reality.

All it took was doing the complete opposite of what the industry taught be was the standard.

All it took was having a family and losing time with my son because of those toxic standards.

But I was young, and that time lost taught me something…

…I didn’t want that to be my reality.

But to make a change, I had to BE the change.

The changes I made in my business took me from $5k months in California working 5 days a week

>>> to $25k months and 3 day workweeks

🤔 “How many hours did you work though?”

Just 6-8 hours a day. That’s it.

And I want to help uou discover the exact strategies and systems I used to flip my career around.

Comment “SOLO” and I’ll show you how to do it too ♥️

I made $4.50/hr the first year I went independent

When I had my first baby, I only took a 5 week maternity leave because I was too afraid my clients would find someone else

I used to discount to get new clients in…

…and all that did was make me hate by business, question my career, and become the stylist people recommended because I was “cheap.”

Fast forward to now and I’ve been the sole provider for my family of since 2017

(hubby 👨🏻‍🦱 is a stay at home dad + 2 kids 👦🏻👧🏽 and 1 on the way 🤰🏻)

The change was when I moved to Texas and decided to do the opposite of what the industry said I had to do.

🚫 I didn’t price competitively
✅ I priced 40% higher than the luxury salons

🚫 I didn’t offer every service to attract more clients
✅ I offered one and booked people with bigger budgets

🚫 I didn’t have a cancelation policy
✅ I required 50% non-refundable deposits for everyone

🚫 I didn’t pre-book
✅ I trained my clientele to book on time

🚫 I didn’t post daily on social media
✅ I posted high value content 2-3x a week

And all that took me from 67k working 10 hour days, 5 days a week in a city I worked 6+ years in…

…to $285k in 9 months working 3 days a week in a city no one knew me in.

THAT is what happens when you say f*ck the industry standards, I’m building a business that works for ME.

👉🏼 if you’re looking for a business mentor, consider this my application 🙋🏻‍♀️

If you skip the first picture 👉🏼 1. No one knew that I was a synchronized swimmer/mermaid before… but I have decided to expose myself.

2. Adaline’s beach room as been completed for her 7th b-day and Hobby Lobby came in clutch

3. Tyler loves frog legs (ew)

4. Sylvester taking a snooze 😴

5. Adaline’s b-day tea party.. and yes, I fully embraced the role as a servant for the Duchess of Sussex (my daughter)

6. Found the pedicure spot in Arkansas 💅🏻

7. A river about 30min from our house that has super rocky shores but DENG it’s pretty!

8. Pilgrim showing the other turkey who’s boss

9. Oh yea, we have peacocks 🦚 and a bunch of other baby birds too (yes, we’re going to eat the turkeys and probably some of the chickens).

10. Bet you’ve never seen a sexy rooster before. You’re welcome.

11. If one geese is a goose, and one teeth is a tooth… then shouldn’t one sheep be a shoop? 🤯

Anyway, that is all ♥️

The era of giving away ANY service is 💀 🔪

You charge for your time, every time.

Because that gives you the power to create a real change.

To change your life. Or the life of others.

Sometimes both.

I kil!ed myself working 10+ hour days as a hairstylist and I made next to nothing for that time.

But when I decided to be a business?

To not just require respect, but to confidently demand it without needing to say a word?

That’s when things changed.

👉🏼 My husband retired to be a stay at home dad
👉🏼 We homeschooled both of our kids
👉🏼 Could do spontaneous vacations whenever
👉🏼 Take time off when I needed it mentally
👉🏼 Invested in movements for change

The power came with the freedom.

This is the reason I became a mentor, because I’m obsessed with helping other women find and keep that type of power too.

And if you are looking for a community that will help you scale, unapologetically, then I would love to invite you into She Owns Solo.

🌱 Comment “SOLO” and I’ll tell you more about it

Btw, it’s absolutely free to start and only $33 if you decide to stay

Cheers to becoming the CEO you were always meant to be 🥂

People pleasers are teated like doormats, and then wonder why they are burnt out all the time.

Because you’ve created a relationship where you’re giving more than you are receiving.

This creates an imbalance in the relationship between you and your clients 📉

Giving away your time and product will burn you to a crisp.

Make you resent your career.

And certainly make you broke as hell in the end.

👉🏼🙋🏻‍♀️ I know, because I gave away $23,000 worth of time, product, and discounts in one year.

A year when I made only $4.50/hr as a independent stylist.

🌱 Then I transformed my business into something where people willingly give me $100 for 30min of my time, without an appointment guarantee.

It did NOT happen over night. It took me YEARS.

💃🏻 That’s why I created my community, She Owns Solo.

To help women behind the chair build a business that takes home $150k+ working 3 days a week, without being a doormat.

And it’s free to start 👯‍♀️

P.S. in the first 7 days I’ll help you fix your prices so you know your numbers and profit 50%+ on every service you offer

P.P.S. The next 7 days I’ll show you the method to increasing your income $100+ a day without booking more clients

I was stuck in the “Kristen the hairstylist” identity for too long… and it made me regret so many things.

Time I couldn’t get back with my son for ungrateful clients.

Trauma from forcing myself to act like everything was normal.

And barely any money to scrape by for all that trouble.

So when I moved to Texas, I decided I was going to do things DIFFERENTLY.

🌱 Building a sustainable business that gave me more time with family.

And healing myself from the hustle culture that created the toxic identity and habits I built over the years.

Now? I help other women behind the chair do the same.

Because f*ck hustle culture.
We have kids we want to be present for.
And a life we want to enjoy living.

But to do so, you need to build a business that gives you the freedom of CHOICE.

That power comes from destroying the industry standards that have been ground into us since beauty school.

The things the gurus say you “have to do” to be successful.

It’s not true, and I’m the proof that you can do things differently.

So if you’re tired of feeling like the hustle is getting you nowhere fast, or are looking for the mentorship you need to truly scale your business ⬇️

She Owns Solo was created for you.

Comment “SOLO” to join my mentorship community and I’ll show you the path to 6+ figure years working 3 days a week ♥️
