I found a hair girl willing to tackle my mess of hair. 😍 Wow what a change!!!

Yesterday I did it. I graduated from the aesthetics program at Spa Tech. I have never been more proud of myself than I currently am. At 35 and with multiple failed attempts at getting a degree behind me, I finally found something I love and am passionate about; and I saw it through the end this time!!

Working, having a relationship, kids, school, family and friend’s, was the hardest balancing act I’ve ever done. Figuring out how to get everyone out the door on time and ready everyday was a struggle, forgotten lunch boxes, missing homework, a tired mom or kiddo that woke up on the wrong side of the bed (not many of you know Lucy in the morning, morning Lucy and afternoon Lucy are not the same person lol), we saw it all.

My very first day of school, as I was driving there I got a call from the kids school, Lucy was throwing up. Here to the rescue comes Maxwell. If it wasn’t for him this mission would have quite literally been, “Mission Impossible”. The amount of times he missed work if the girls were sick so I didn’t miss school is unmatched. His level of commitment kept mine going. Everyday after leaving for work at 5am he picked the girls up from school and took over the parental role for me while I was in class. After missing school for vacation and trips I often had to take night classes from 6-10pm and he saw it through at home until bedtime. He held down the fort and held my hand the entire time. “Don’t count the days, make the days count.” I did it babe, all thanks to you. I made the days count this time.

To say I’m thankful is an understatement. The encouragement I received throughout this journey is unmatched. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who has been encouraging me, following my journey and being patient during this busy season of my life.

And my estie girls. I can’t believe I was scared to start school again and meet a bunch of young ladies. You all proved all of my fears wrong and blessed my heart in so many ways. Giving me love and grace as I mommed the group. You are the sweetest and most wonderful young women and I am so grateful to have had you all by my side through this journey. You are all so special to me and I love the connection I have made with each of you. Forever my estie besties. 💕

14 days until graduation. Absolutely unreal. Scored a 97 on my first final, banged out the rest of my requirements except my lashes (shout out to my eater girls who have been saving their lashes for me!) I am so excited. And honestly incredibly proud of myself. I’m 35, in school full time, work and juggle being a mama and other half to the best guy ever. It’s been a challenge and a struggle if I’m being quite real. But I haven’t given up, I kept going. A millimeter a day and I can finally see the end in sight. 🥹 I’m still here guys- and so close to being able to take care of you! 🫶🏼 Thanks for following me on this journey.

Also- let’s peep at how good my skin looks after months of healthy, regular skincare. 35 doesn’t look so bad on me after all. 💕

Inspo vs how it came out! We had special effects class today. Picked an inspo pic and did our own! Not too shabby if I do say so myself. My beautiful pink avatar came in for the win but I placed second and got some cool new makeup as a prize. 😍
