Finishing up my first day of extracting honey with a walk around the neighborhood.

Heat is your enemy! Be prepared.

Don’t get too carried away with what the jones are using to extract their honey. You only need about 4 items and you should be ready to roll. The ole beeman getting his equipment ready to go.

Even though I have not extracted 1 pound of honey yet, in my mind the honey harvest is already done. It’s time to move on, everything you do from this stage forward will determine what your bees are like next year.
