In Louisiana, shrimp molds are a sacred tradition. And remaining in true fashion, I wanted to shake things up.

So, I decided to marble one, blow dry it out of a Bundt pan, and push this old-school classic completely out of its comfort zone.

And honestly?
I regret absolutely nothing. 🦐 🔥

CALLING ALL AIR FRYER LOVERS!

It’s time to admit it…. I’ve never used an air fryer..

I’ve always used fire and pans to create delicious meals, but after years of hearing about how much people love their air fryers, i’m ready to give it a try!  I’ve seen people rave about cooking an entire meal, to reheating leftovers, and absolutely loving this kitchen device.

it always turns into a day trip to New Orleans.

This one slice okra hack gives you that delicious fried okra flavor without all the high carb batter. Having so much surface area touch the pan also reduces the slimy texture most people dislike.. will you try this method? 🔥

Something about these is like instant time travel.

Walking into the kitchen… the smell of coffee brewing… wood cabinets…a pot simmering on the stove…

And these little mushroom canisters sitting on the counter like they owned the place. 😭😂

Honestly, I never remember seeing anyone actually grab anything from them.. So, did anybody actually USE these canisters for storage? What was in them?? 🍄

POV: while moving you uncover the legendary “rag” pile. 😂

Not one person on earth can throw these away without hearing somebody say:

“WAIT. Those are still good for rags!”

I swear towels and t-shirts have a second life cycle. One minute you’re drying yourself off… next minute they’re cleaning cars, wiping spills, surviving in garages, under sinks, workshops.

And somehow… every family has a pile like this hidden somewhere.

Did your family also keep these for the next 20 years “just in case”? 😂

National Shrimp Day landing on Mother’s Day felt like too much of a coincidence to ignore… so I decided to give Mom the bouquet she really wants. 🍤💐🔥

So I torched the flowers and fired up the grill. This edible arrangement turned into a real show stopper.

Now tell me…

What are we replacing flowers with next year?
