First session in a color correction involving bleach damaged hair.

Color corrections are not always easy! And sometimes you have to wait before you can go any further. As you can see there is still some warmth in her ends, this is because while foiling her hair I made the decision that her ends could not handle any bleach on them. I set her up with a hair care regime to help protect and strengthen her hair for the hopes in the future we can brighten her ends! She was very happy with the outcome and knew every step of the way about the warmth in her ends, my decision and my reasoning.

Did I get a before picture??? Of course I didn’t 😑 nonetheless my beautiful sister in law wanted to go extra light after being slightly darker.. and well quite grown out 😂 This truly shows how much lighting can change how your hair looks!! In the last picture it looks much warmer than it truly is, that is also with direct sunlight versus inside right next to a window!

As much as I love doing blended/lived-in blondes … there is something about going dark that I ABSOLUTELY love!! And this color on her is literally perfection 🤩🤩

Amazing partial foil color correction. This sweet girl came in after doing at home highlights (it happens! No hate for people who do their hair at home!) and it wasn’t quite what she wanted, but no worries we got her exactly where she wanted to be just in time for school!! Swipe to see her before.
