Let’s talk about the reality of color removals for a second!

Vivid colors are some of the most unpredictable colors to remove, especially reds and pinks. You truly never know what’s going to be left underneath until you start the process. Some areas may lift beautifully, while others hold onto that pigment for dear life. 😂

Going from a vivid color to blonde isn’t always a one-appointment transformation, and having realistic expectations is SO important.

Our goal for this appointment wasn’t perfection. It was to remove as much of that red as possible, create a wearable, blended blonde, and most importantly, maintain the integrity of her hair.

Is there still some warmth? Absolutely! Is there more correcting we can do in future sessions? Of course! But we accomplished a HUGE transformation without touching her hair with lightener, and that’s a win in my book!

Healthy hair will always come before achieving the perfect color in one appointment. 🤍

Sometimes getting to your dream hair is a process, and that’s okay!

A little business update! 💗

Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with an increase in no-shows and last-minute cancellations lately, and it’s gotten to the point where I need to make some changes.

I absolutely understand that life happens! Things come up, kids get sick, schedules change, and sometimes there’s just nothing you can do about it. I will always do my best to be understanding of those situations.

But as a small business owner, when I block off several hours of my day for an appointment and someone doesn’t show up, that’s time and income I can’t get back. It’s also an appointment I could have offered to someone else.

Because of this, I’ll now be requiring a deposit or card on file to secure appointments moving forward.

This isn’t something I wanted to have to implement, but it’s become necessary to protect my time and my business.

To all of my clients who show up, communicate, and continue to support me, I appreciate you more than you know! You’re the reason I get to keep doing what I love. 🩷
