Many of my patients may have seen recent news reports concerning a civil lawsuit filed by the United States regarding Medicare billing for a neurostimulation treatment previously provided at my practice.
The government's complaint contains allegations, not findings of wrongdoing. I dispute the allegations and intend to defend myself through the legal process. Because this matter is now pending in federal court, it would not be appropriate for me to discuss the evidence or details of the case publicly.
I have practiced medicine and cared for Medicare patients for more than two decades, and I remain committed to providing my patients with the same care and attention I have throughout my career. My practice remains open and patient care continues as usual.
