Today we celebrate 14 years here at The Bella and to say that this year has been bittersweet would be an understatement. So much has changed this year and while I know that change is inevitable I’m feeling nostalgic for this day 14 years ago when two amazing women followed me on this crazy whim.

How lucky was I to have shared my space with Rene & Laurie for nearly all of these last 14 years. As a salon owner I know how blessed I am and how rare it is to have had the same team by my side for that long. I also know that when Yvette joined our team 5 years ago it felt as if she’d always been there.

So to these ladies I say thank you. The Bella wouldn’t be what “she” is without the three of you.

On another note I’d like to take a moment to welcome Diane & Amy.

Diane, you showed up when I didn’t even know I needed you and Amy you were an answer to my prayers, you showed up with your bag of tools and jumped right in, for that I can’t even begin to thank you.

I’d also like to say an enormous thanks to all of our amazing clients & friends who’ve been loyal to us. You’re a part of our little crazy family and we appreciate you so much.

On this Thanksgiving Eve, we're contemplating the families we've cared for with great tenderness. In our eight years of being open we had over 1,000 “guests” stay with us. That number multiplied by all the family members, neighbors, church and club members, and friends makes the staff and Board members feel comforted that we are needed. We should exist. We also learned that our entire community doesn’t know about us. BJay’s Pizzeria and Coney’s is offering a free large pizza to the person that gets us to 2900 followers! We only need 100 more and then we will go for another number. Are you the one that will Like - Tag - Share - and get us to that 2800 followers?hp
