If you have Black or dark skin and facial hair, the laser being used on your skin matters.
What is the safest laser hair removal for dark skin? That is an important question because melanin-rich skin can be at greater risk of burns, irritation and dark marks when the wrong technology or settings are used.
I use long-pulse Nd:YAG 1064 for my dark-skinned clients. The wavelength, settings and the experience of the person treating your skin matter.

Laser vs electrolysis:
Dark hair needs a 1064 Nd:YAG laser. White or gray hair can't be treated by any laser - it needs electrolysis instead. If a clinic promised your gray hairs would respond to laser, that's why it didn't work. I do both, and I'll tell you honestly which one your hair actually needs. Call or text 305-864-3333.
