Tattoos heal in stages. Think: dry, itchy flaky, and a little dull before the ink settles. This is completely normal as your body heals and grows new skin cells over the ink. This is the normal healing process β not your tattoo or brows βfalling outβ
Especially with fine line tattoos + soft, natural brows
softer work = more natural fade = sometimes needing touch ups to build the perfect saturation over time.
and before you plan your next tattoo⦠remember placement matters:
fingers = high movement + constant washing = faster fading
brows = will flake + heal lighter before the final result settles
arms/legs = better retention
During the first few days avoid: swimming, saunas, excessive heat/water exposure, scrubbing motions, active ingredients.
At shape and shade all body art includes free touch ups within 6 months to build up the perfect level of saturation.

Not all brown skin needs dark brows.
This client bleaches her brows to complement her warm skin, hair, and honey toned eyes but still wanted shape and definition without going too dark. Color selection when it comes to permanent makeup is not a one size fits all. Melanated skin β the darkest pigment in a set.
True expertise is knowing when less creates more and the importance of versatility in artistry.

2025 showed my highlights, but it held my heaviest year mentally. I grew a business, stepped into new roles, and kept moving forward while quietly navigating depression, loss, and deep internal shifts.
This year taught me to trust myself.
That sadness and growth can coexist.
That progress comes from action, not perfection.
I learned to get comfortable with change and feel gratitude for the hard moments that forced my growth.
I learned to sit comfortably in my own company.
To release voices that diluted my intuition.
To fall back in love with passions I thought were gone.
I learned that Iβm allowed to explore many paths.
I have time. I value knowledge. I donβt need permission.
Whatβs visible are the wins but theyβre built on lessons you donβt see. 2025 was a transition year, one of becoming.
In 2026 I hope to keep finding whatβs meant for me- the people and things meant for me in this life.
