As a seasoned industry professional and beauty pro, I’ve noticed a growing trend of people feeling led—or honestly, sometimes pressured—to “open a salon.”
And listen… just because you’re GREAT at the service you provide does NOT mean you’re called to be a business owner.
It is perfectly okay to simply be a stylist, nail tech, barber, esthetician, makeup artist, etc. You can be gifted, talented, booked, fulfilled, and successful without ever opening a salon.
God did not grace or call all of us to do the same thing. Some are called to build businesses. Some are called to work within them. Some are called to serve. Some are called to lead. And some are called to create in ways that don’t look like entrepreneurship at all.
Let your gift be enough.
