We're a family of five, navigating life's adventures together with laughter, love, and a shared passion for simplicity. Over a decade and a half ago, we tied the knot and embarked on a journey filled with twists and turns, but always guided by our deep-rooted connection. Seeking solace from the hustle and bustle of city life, we made the bold decision to uproot ourselves and settle in the heart of Nebraska. Initially met with the culture shock of village life, we soon found ourselves captivated by the charm and warmth of our small community. Surrounded by friendly faces and the comforting embrace of rural living, we knew we had found our place to call home. Our journey towards self-sustainability began with a simple desire to reconnect with nature and nurture a deeper understanding of where our food comes from. Fueled by a chicken obsession (who can resist those tiny dinosaurs?) and a determination to grow wholesome, unadulterated food, we've embarked on a mission to reduce our dependence on commercial products. Every day presents new opportunities for growth as we strive to cultivate a lifestyle that harmonizes with the land and fosters a sense of purpose and fulfillment. We’ll be at the Beatrice Saturday Farmers Market today from 9-12. Sold out products have been restocked and it will be in the 70’s today!!
We will also be at the market next Saturday, the 19th, and the LAST market on October 3rd.

Dry shampoo for dark hair is here!
I waited and waited for labels that still aren’t here, so I improvised!
Same lightweight, grease fighting, lightly fragranced recipe as the original but now tailored to those with darker hair.

We’re at the Local Palooza 2026 from now until 5pm. Come out and get a plate of delicious, made from scratch food!
I have been TERRIBLE at posting these last couple of weeks but I HAVE been working.
New batches of lip balms ready today and a dry shampoo for dark hair will be ready next time (sooner on the website).
