Children With Hair Loss is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss. When a child’s hair is lost due to Cancer treatments, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, Burns, etc., the painful effects are far deeper than just cosmetic. Each year, the number of children requesting our hair replacements increases and with your support, we can continue to increase the number of children we are able to help in the future.oss

8 month old haircut for my nephew today! 🥰 This is a friendly reminder to start your kiddos young! Why you ask? They become used to the sounds and vibrations and feelings of the comb and clippers when you start them young. If you wait till they are older, they find these things scary and unsettling. And after they turn one year old, get them on the books for haircuts on a monthly to bi-monthly basis to keep them used to the sounds and stick with the same stylist for most comfort when possible! It’s actually good to get the baby hair cut off so the new growth can take over ☺️✂️ Take it from a hairstylist, it makes a difference to start young-as they age I can tell a difference between my toddler clients who received cuts as babies vs ones that didn’t.
