✨Blonde doesn’t always need more blonde✨

As we start thinking about fall hair, many blondes want to soften the bright, sun-kissed look of summer without losing the blonde they love.

For this client, the goal was to cool down her blonde while creating a more lived-in, lower-maintenance color that would blend seamlessly with her natural grow-out.

To achieve that, I added strategically placed lowlights to create depth, softened the root, and refreshed the remaining blonde with a gloss to neutralize unwanted warmth while keeping the ends bright.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that every blonde refresh needs more bleach. The truth is, sometimes adding depth and refining the blonde you already have creates the biggest transformation.

Sometimes the most beautiful change isn’t going lighter. It’s creating a color that has depth, dimension, and grows out beautifully.

Custom color moment 🎨

I created this look using the new Kromatic Cream direct dyes by Nook for a rich, dimensional finish and incredible shine.

She naturally has very fine, or as I like to call it, “skinny hair” 😉 which is a great reminder that fine hair does not mean flat or one dimensional. With the right placement and tones, color still pops and you can see so much depth and dimension.

Best part of these new direct dyes…they smell like sweet tarts 🍬
