You’ve received the best dermaplaning of your life, how do you keep that amazing glow after your facial?✨

👎 Avoid abrasive cleansers, wash cloths, electric cleanser brushes, or hot shower spray for the first 24-48 hours.

👎 Do not use cleansers, serums or spot treatments containing retinol, salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) for 5 days following treatment.

👎 Do not use Retin-A for 5 days pre and post dermaplaning. For darker skin tones: use a brightening serum to reduce any risk of PIH.

👎 Makeup can irritate skin after dermaplaning. Bacteria, alcohols, colorants and fragrance are all irritants that can cause contact dermatitis so be sure to use clean brushes, replace your sponges and apply clean (new) makeup to minimize risks.

Following your dermaplane treatment, active ingredients and products will pe*****te deeper into the skin. If you are sensitive, try all products on a small area before applying full face.

My first client has been using products I’ve prescribed for her to treat a few skin concerns that she had to include a condition called transepidermal water loss, also known as (TEWL). If you're suffering from excessive transepidermal water loss, you will begin to notice some or all of the key indicators of dehydrated and dry skin,including flaking, roughness, and increased visibility of fine lines.

We also targeted some dark spots that were in it’s early stages and I’d say that we have come a long way since November!
