Hair has never been “just hair.”

It’s the thing you see every morning.
It’s in every photo.
It’s the first thing people notice when you walk into a room.

For some women, feeling good about their hair isn’t a luxury, it’s something they choose to prioritize.

And I never take that trust for granted.

2 month update of wearing keratin bond hair extensions.

The first month I struggled to wear my hair up. Not because it wouldn’t go up but because it was heavy and dragging down the ponytail. I think I was also a little afraid. But here we are, I have figured it out.

And when it’s hot outside, I am thankful I chose bonds vs a weft so that o can still wear it up.

Ponytails, claw clips (with caution), messy buns…it all works.

I am actually sad that my next update will likely be the removal. But o have a feeling that won’t last long 😅

This is such a common issue I see in women. The back is thicker than the sides and the sides just seem to never catch up.

If you think about it, the sides of our heads have less area for hair. If you measure from the top of your head to your hairline on your neck, it will be longer than from the top of your head to your hairline above your ear. So naturally, this area is a little less dense.

Also, so many of us like a lot of layering around our face. The layers also can take away from the density of the “length line”, if you will.

But sometimes, none of that makes a difference and it just doesn’t grow there and it’s very frustrating. And when you look at yourself from the front, all you see is this short hair. Or maybe you feel like you have a mullet.

This is where, what I call, a density side fill comes in. I fill your sides with keratin bonds so that the perimeter of your hair continues to the sides. The same way I might do if someone had weft extensions but couldn’t bring the weft far enough forward to achieve the length in the front.

The power of ktip hair extensions 😍 I’m obsessed! Spent 5 hours yesterday doing her color and keratin bond install. She had been doing tape ins at home and it really took a toll on her hair. Tape ins aren’t terrible, but it has to be done properly to avoid damage, like any extension. And honestly, I don’t know how anyone deals with the goo of tapes 🤣. She will come back into the salon in about 8 weeks for a check up, and a complimentary blowout. That’s when I tell her when we need to do her removal. She will be able to wear them for 3-4 months.
