My apologies to everyone who’s appointments I had to cancel so last minute, but this little guy is the cute reason why! We are both very happy, healthy and finally home 😊 I look forward to seeing everyone starting March 1st back in the office, but I’m the meantime we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

It’s official for massage therapists to reopen on May 15th!! I am so thrilled!! I’ll be reaching out to clients to reschedule, and it may take a moment. Know that I am working hard to get everyone taken care of, and I value all of you!! Also, I have a detailed list of guidelines from the State Medical Board of Ohio to ensure everyone’s safety including my own.

I needed to see this today.

The reality of being forced to not work finally peaked, and anxiety starting settling in. How can I be valuable to my family if I’m not working? Creating something? Changing something?

So far I’ve managed to stay positive by staying busy. But when the busy stops, the critic comes out asking “Did you do anything worthwhile? You should have done so much more. You’re not contributing enough.”

And the truth is that it’s ok to just breathe. We’re going through something, and the right way to navigate this is different for everybody. I have so much respect for everyone who’s risking exposure everyday for the essential jobs, parents teleworking and homeschooling their kids, really anybody making it work right now. But for anyone like me who is having a hard time finding your place right now:

*Your worth is not equivalent to your productivity*

Show yourself a little compassion for the circumstances. Do something frivolous and don’t wonder if you’ve earned it. Do something productive, but don’t measure its value against your own.

I figure, if I needed to see this today, maybe someone else did, too. ❤️
