Recently, due to medical necessity, I converted from a gastric sleeve to a gastric bypass—another reminder that healing requires courage, faith, and resilience.

I am currently searching for property in Maryland suitable for cultivating herbs for use in my products. An offer has been placed on a parcel of land, and I am awaiting closing details. Although the land has wet or marshy areas, I plan to utilize raised beds for cultivation, which should mitigate these conditions.

Simultaneously, I am exploring options for a residential property within the same neighborhood that fits my budget. The community has charm, and having a family member with property nearby would be a bonus. I am taking proactive steps to secure my interests.

Collaborating with Martha's Table and the Smithsonian Anacostia Museum, I developed an edible flower arrangement featuring Viola flowers and leaves that offer medicinal properties. These flowers and leaves are edible, nutrient-dense, and exhibit anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial benefits. Rosemary is a potent herb rich in compounds that enhance cognitive function, circulation, and digestion while reducing pain and stress. Thyme, a nutrient-dense herb containing thymol, offers benefits that support respiratory health, immune function, and digestion.
