Lowlights & a melt for // taking her blonde to the next level✨

Ringing in the New Year with some copper on this balayage refresh😮‍💨 During the summer, Elle’s hair turns the best golden copper from the sun, so the goal today was to recreate that shine & brilliance. We glossed her balayage from the fall to recreate that magic only the sun can do & boy were we happy🤩 Less was definitely more here👏🏼✨

Pro tip: If you’re happy with the amount and placement of lightness in your hair, but are looking for a little pizazz, ask your stylist for a tonal gloss treatment to shift your natural haircolor and add maximum shine🤌🏼

The trees are looking beautiful this year at Ratkovich Farm🎄

We took advantage of this perfect day and tagged most of the trees! We aren’t done yet, but we know we’ll have plenty of 5-7’ and a few 8-9’ white pines in the field! We will also have small spruce (3-5’) available to cut! Our u-cut trees are $10/foot. They will all be tagged with height and price before you cut, so you’ll know exactly what you are getting. 🎄🎄🎄

We’ll be open until we sell out! We highly recommend getting here as early as possible in the season. We typically sell out quickly. I will post updates on inventory, be sure to check Facebook or instagram before heading out.

🌲Nash’s snack shack will be open with simple snacks and drinks available
🌲Bonfire will be burning, grab a s’mores kit in the snack shack and make yourself cozy!
🌲Feel free to spend as much time as you’d like at the farm! Bring your hot chocolate and some snacks and pop the tailgate. Enjoy being outside while picking the perfect tree!

Fall is here & COPPER IS BACK🍁
If this isn’t the epitome of fall in a haircolor, I sure don’t know what is. Went back to copper for the season on and it was an immediate YES. Her eyes absolutely popped with this color & dimension👏🏼

My best buddy turned 4 yesterday🥳 & I just can’t believe it! I feel like it was just yesterday, sitting in the hospital room trying to figure it all out. Somehow they sent you home with me & I’m still wondering 4 years later if I’m doing it right. But one thing I’m certain of, these little hands & feet are going to go far!🌟The absolute joy of my life, Nixon Phillip🦖 Happy 4th Birthday!

Meet Alison 👋🏼 my new assistant!

Many of you know I got my start behind the chair as an assistant myself. I have always credited much of who I am as a hairstylist today to the foundation I learned from those early years of assisting. As an assistant you gain one on one knowledge & experience as well as becoming familiar with the in & outs of how a salon actually runs. It has always been a goal of mine to have my own assistant someday—not only to help with the sustainability of my career but provide my clients to the absolute best experience possible. Alison has helped me keep the ball rolling behind the chair & also get back to those messages y’all leave me much quicker!👏🏼 And how awesome I get to play a small part in the foundation of her own career🫶🏻

Alison is a licensed cosmetologist & serious about building her career! She says, “I’ve always had a passion for this industry! It has been a career I continuously thought about growing up, and I can proudly say I’m so glad I ended up here! One of my goals for the future is to continuously learn and perfect new haircutting, coloring, and styling techniques to stay current with trends, and make sure every client in my chair leaves with a smile☺️”
