This wedding kicked off my 2024 season. If you scroll back through my feed, you’ll see the photo I took of her after I did her make up. 🤳🏼However, boy does my picture NOT hold a candle to this pro one of her!! Also, this day was really incredible because I was handed a coin at the start of the day with a butterfly on one side and a phrase on the other. The phrase essentially said that no matter what happens that day that it’s out of your control. It was such a positive way to start the day and I loved that everyone in the bridal party got one- I still have mine! 🫶🏻

Not only is a wedding a special moment between a bride and groom but also a special moment between a bride and her mom. Moms spend their lives tirelessly supporting, loving and nurturing their daughters to grow up and get married and possibly become a mother too. Moms (and mother-in-laws too) don’t get a big applause on the wedding day or even a special slow dance or walk down the aisle with the bride but boy do they deserve to at least feel pampered.
Don’t forget to include moms on the getting ready portion of your day! I love getting to do their make up because usually they didn’t have a make up artist on their special day.
