Job Description: Part-time Massage Therapist
Location: Bedford, NH
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-time Massage Therapist to join our team at Bedford Bodyworks. As a massage therapist, you will provide exceptional massage services and body treatments to our guests, ensuring their utmost comfort and satisfaction. This position requires a professional who is passionate about wellness and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Massage Services: Provide a variety of massage services to guests using suitable props and/or products.
Body Treatments: Administer treatments such as body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
Guest Assessment: Assess guest needs and inquire about any contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning service.
Technique Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with current techniques and modalities relevant to massage therapy.
Guest Es**rt: Es**rt guests to and from treatment rooms.
Workstation Management: Arrange workstation, treatment room, and drapes appropriately.
Guest Comfort: Frequently check with guests to ensure their comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
Promotion & Sales: Promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products related to the Spa.
Tool Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and sterilize all tools and equipment.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of workstation and treatment room throughout the shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
Time Management: Monitor and adhere to time schedules throughout the day.
Licensure Maintenance: Maintain current skills and licensure in accordance with state requirements.
Qualifications
Customer Service: Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
Licensure: Must be a licensed massage therapist in New Hampshire (NH).
Skill Maintenance: Commitment to keeping skills and licensure up-to-date as per state requirements.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Part-time hours requiring flexibility to accommodate guest bookings.
Work Environment: Professional spa/salon environment with a focus on providing a relaxing and therapeutic experience for guests.
