This summer has been fantastic and I'm enjoying every minute, and I hope you're enjoying yours. I'm so happy to say that after about four years of actively reading the Bible and cultivating a relationship with God, I decided to be baptized as an adult and strengthen my embrace of Christianity.

The bonus that I wasn't expecting was that my family, who was watching me grow in my faith and conversing with me about everything, also decided they wanted that for themselves and wanted a relationship with God as well. David, Tristan, and Henry were baptized right along with me and I couldn't be more proud of the boys and how they are deciding to include faith in their journey to becoming men.

We are a close family who love and respect each other very much, and we thank Mahlon McLean and Elizabeth McLean for the honor of being baptized by them. We also were so honored to have my beautiful bestie Jane Bigelow as a loving witness to our event and to share in our vacation as well.

Sharing this so publicly makes me nervous, especially considering that some people won't understand or may not accept it. However, I decided to do it anyway and hope that you'll be as excited for me and my family and wish us love and encouragement 💕
