The reason we tend to feel more pain and achiness in the winter is because cold temperatures:

◇ restrict blood flow
◇ cause muscles to constrict
◇ lead us to spend more time indoors with less physical activity

That stiffness you’re feeling isn’t in your head—your body is working hard to maintain its core temperature.

Massage therapy can help alleviate these winter woes. In addition, be sure to stretch your muscles and connective tissues daily, and get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes to support circulation and overall health.
