I want to take a minute and Thank all of Janie's clients for your prayers,text messages and calls. She is returning to work this week to try and get things back to some kind of normalcy. (If that's even possible) I am asking for you all to consider Janie's feelings and not discuss or ask any questions about the passing of her sweet sister Susan. This is a very difficult time for Janie and it would be easier for her not to have to talk about it through out the day. The decision to come back to work was not easy. Again Thank You all for all the love and support. CJ's Salon❤

Update for Janie's clientele
First week back. Long Day's. We have a long road ahead of us to be able to get to everyone.
To give everyone an idea, It takes me 8 hours to do 5 colors/hilights. I have to schedule enough time in between clients so no one's appointment's do not overlap and have time to sanitize and barbercide has to set 10min. Lysol speeds up sanitizing but I can't get my hands on any. Most everyone's hair is taking longer to process because of 2 inch roots and some clients I also have to start from scratch with shorter styles because the hair has lost it's shape. So for this first week I was able to get 22 clients in. I have about 45 clients on a waiting list and add to it every day.
I can not work 8-10 hours a day back to back. Please understand I still have 2 kids at home and they are still homeschooling. I'm scheduling week to week. Still working on scheduling my 2nd week. I will be cutting 3 hrs a day off but will pick up a extra day a week. I am also temporarily cutting out blow-drying hair to help get in a extra client til I get caught up. Every one needs to understand that the days of squeezing you in or you booking at the last minute is no longer, so please don't try and get your feelings hurt. Camila and I have been talking and eventually when she is caught up she may be able to help me out and take on some of my clients to help me get caught up. I will contact you if and when the time comes to give you that option. I'm doing the best that I can, so please be patient and thank you for understanding. Miss you all!

Reminder... TDLR and State require you to wear a mask when entering Salon. You are to sanitize your hands with Sanitizer that we provide. Reschedule if you or a family member is sick and no extra persons. Please do Not enter the Salon until your scheduled time unless we call or text you, otherwise please wait in your car.

We are looking forward to getting back to work as CJ's Salon is getting ready for a soft opening. Keep in mind that certain protocols need to be followed in between clients. Please be patient as we are doing our best to get to everyone that had March and April appointments. Guidelines that have been implemented by TDRL and State are 1)Per the State to minimize risk we will only allow one person per stylist at a time. We ask that NO additional guest enter the Salon. 2) Each person entering the Salon must wear a mask at all times. 3) Upon entering Salon you must sanitize your hands. Sanitizer will be provided at the entrance.4) If you arrive early please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. 5)Please reschedule if you or a family member are sick. We need to be extra cautious as we have families of our own at home. Thank You and look forward to seeing each and everyone of you.

Woo hoo! We get to go back to work as of May 8th.
Please be patient. We are working together to work out details of rules and regulations we have to follow per TDLR, as well as new hours.
We will not officially open until next week.
